Monks high atop the Altiplano in the Spring of '64. Drowning in shame, Dr.
and Mrs. Nydell whisked Tui off to a nunnery in Trinidad where she
remained sequestered for over a year (Tui never left La Paz for prep school
in the States as originally thought - pure subterfuge on the part of her
parents). Anyway, back to the story . . . their child torn from under them,
Tui and rk were not permitted to correspond for over 35-years. As for
Baby Max, TV viewers around the world know him today as crackerjack
